Its time to take on a journey from MIND-FULL to MINDFUL
HAVING A MIND-FULL:
WE SWING BETWEEN THE PAST AND THE FUTURE
· Intensely think about what happened in the past.
· Anticipate what will happen in the future.
· Predict other’s behaviour.
· Get easily distracted.
· Overthink and overreact.
When we’re focused on the past or the future, it is impossible to respond consciously in the present situation. We are cut off from the possibilities in the present, unable to see and experience them as they are.. We get disconnected from the opportunities of learning, growing, and healing.
What we need to do is pause, breathe, reflect and focus on what matters. Being mindful allows us to choose what to focus on, accept the situations and work on it. By being mindful and noticing what we sense, think and feel, we make conscious choices. Conscious choices and experiencing the present, leads us to happiness and peace.
BEING MINDFUL:
BE IN THE PRESENT
· Observe and accept the present moment.
· Unfold the experience you are having at the moment.
· Reflect on these experiences.
· Acknowledge your fears.
· Be kind and thoughtful
Unpack the clutter, stop being in a mind-full state and start being mindful.
